Louisiana is home of many creatives, how could it not be with such vibrant history and rich culture. Today I'm giving a nod to a super neat idea found via Etsy. Nola Salvage takes found objects and disgarded items and turns them into art. The ultimate in eco-friendly decor! The Fleur Debris is my favorite...the name is a play on the iconic Fleur de Lis that is abundant in this area. I love the look of these one of kind pieces and think the idea is so clever. Also cool are the shotgun houses made of recycled wood and salvaged metal. Perfect for bringing a little NOLA to your own home.
