Yves Saint Laurent said, "Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it." He contrived beautiful, timeless styles that were as important to the industry as any woman wearing his creations. Sadly after 54 years of defining style around the world, the designer passed away at the age of 71.
The icon also spoke, "Fashions fade, style is eternal."
