Bonne Chance

{ Abita Beer: Cooking Louisiana True }

If all of Julie and I's southern recipes haven't got you drooling then our next giveaway surely will! Since 1986 Abita Brewery has been producing tasty ales in our home state of Louisiana. Currently they product seven flagship brews, five seasonal brews and 2 harvest brews at their distillery in Abita Springs, LA. Yummy flavors like Strawberry Harvest Lager and Pecan Harvest are my faves. Now in addition to sipping on these flavorful beverages you can learn to cook with them in Abita Beer: Cooking Louisiana True.

In this awesome book you'll read about the history of Abita and learn lots of great facts about beer in general and cooking with it too! Of course there are awesome recipes from Chef John Folse, Chef Emeril Lagasse, and Chef Paul Prudhomme to name a few. The recipes inside like: Abita Beer Bread, Nola's Shrimp and Smoke Cheddar Grits with Beer-B-Q Glaze and Poppy Tooker's Chicken Etouffee make my mouth water!

You can make this great book and all its wonderful contents your own--on us! We have one to give away to a lovely, lucky reader. Here's what ya do: Leave us a comment telling us your favorite cajun food or one you'd like to try and you'll be entered to win! Simple as that! The giveaway will end on Monday, February 2nd at midnight when we'll randomly draw one winner. Only one entry per person, U.S. residents only, and you must be 21 to enter.
