I know we'd all like to give (and receive!) a trip to Paris for Christmas. But if it is just a bit out of reach I found the next best thing--yummy, beautiful macaroons from Sucre, out of good old NOLA! Aside from regulars like almond, hazelnut, pistachio, strawberry, pecan, lemon and orange they offer a gift box of candy cane and double dark chocolate. Another option, macaroons filled with milk chocolate caramel ganache, coated in dark chocolate and topped with gold leaf. Tres chic for gifting.
