I bought a lovely antique rose bush at a garden show a few months back. My request for the booth owner was to show me a rose that looked like a peony to which he led me to a Maggie rose, a type of Bourbon rose. This little plant seems to like its new home. Currently it has 23 buds waiting to bloom and I clipped 4 blooms today. Aside from being gorgeous these babies smell dreamy. I brought one (one!) to my office a few days ago and it filled the entire room with its glorious scent. They look quite stylish in the itty bitty milk jar everyone covets.
