Bon Appétit

{ Filo Cookies }

My mom is a great cook and I am always learning new recipes from her. The one I am sharing today however was actually passed on to her from a friend named Filo. The yummy cookies have ever since been called Filo Cookies. These are so tasty and easy to make you can whip up a batch in no time. They will be a great recipe to enjoy as spring fruit season approaches.

Filo Cookies

8 oz Cream Cheese
4 oz Cool Whip (half a container)
20 Sugar Cookies
(use your choice of recipes or use Break and Bake types for an easier option)
Strawberries, Raspberries, Bananas, Kiwi, and Blueberries (elminate or add your favorites)
Powdered sugar for garnish

Mix cool whip with cream cheese. Slice bananas, kiwi, and strawberries. Spread generous amount of cool whip/cream cheese mixture on each cookie. Top with sliced and whole fruits. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until serving.
